No domingo, dia 27 de Fevereiro, simultaneamente em Nova Iorque e Los Angeles, foram anunciados os vencedores dos prémios atribuídos pela Writers Guild of America, que distingue a excelência em escrita em diversos âmbitos, nomeadamente cinema, televisão, rádio, noticias, publicidade, vídeo jogos e new media.
Podemos olhar para as áreas de cinema e televisão e ver que muitos dos vencedores têm estado entre os favoritos e sido distinguidos ao longo de toda esta época de cerimónias de prémios, como o filme Argo a série Girls e o filme para televisão Mudança de Jogo (Game Change).
