Já foram apresentados os vencedores dos prémios Grammy deste ano, que aconteceram domingo, dia 10 de Fevereiro, apresentados por LL Cool J e marcados por uma enorme diversidade entre os vencedores.
Na categoria Rock os The Black Keys foram claros vencedores, arrecadando 4 Grammys, e o mesmo podemos dizer para Jay-Z e Kanye West na categoria Rap. Os Fun. levaram também para casa alguns prémios importantes, nomeadamente Melhor Artista Revelação e Música do Ano. Gotye arrecadou os Grammys de Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance e Best Alternative Music Álbum, e Skrillex destacou-se também, levando para casa 3 prémios.

No entanto, não conseguiram bater a banda inglesa Mumford and Sons para o prémio mais cobiçado da noite, Álbum do Ano, sendo que também arrecadaram o Grammy para Best Long Form Music Vídeo pelo Big Easy Express.

A noite ficou ainda marcada por várias actuações ao vivo, entre elas uma homenagem a Bob Marley, protagonizada por Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Sting Damien e Ziggy Marley, duetos entre Elton John e Ed Sheeran e entre os Maroon 5 e Alicia Keys, o regresso de Justin Timberlake ao palco dos Grammy, Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Fun., entre muitos outros.

Foi, assim, uma fantástica noite de homenagem e reconhecimento da excelência no mundo da música.
